Conspiracy Theory Part Trump

What if the absolute horror in Flint Michigan was an accidentally discovered vivisection that is part of some big plan?

What if other cities are being poisoned in similar as well as other ways to dumb us all down and get us to vote against our own interests? This evil isn’t isolated.  You know, fracking, methane leaks, dumping of toxic coal waste into our ground water, our mouths and internal organs.

Breathing it.

Bathing in it.

What if that explained why local governments, state legislatures and political contests on a national level have become so dominated by powers that have no history of supporting the will or the good of the people?

Since when did the EPA become a pariah?

What if, in conspiracy with dirty political fuckery, we’re actually being turned into a third world country by shaving our collective intelligence with deliberate poisoning?

To make us all dumb enough to vote against our interests and keep working like bastard rodents on a wheel.

What if this is the real reason there’s enough Americans dumb enough to support Trump and make him viable?

Fukushima isn’t even being discussed anymore while it remains an open, puss leaking sore. It makes the scab of Flint look like kindergarten.  Yeah, it was the result of a natural disaster but no one is talking about the radiation pouring into the Pacific Ocean that hundreds of millions of people share because nobody has any idea what to do about it and it just might be part of a bigger picture.

They don’t have an answer so they bury the question.

I’m not your average tin foil hat rube.  The whole chemtrail thing is bullshit if only for the obvious reason that there’s much more efficient and target rich ways to accomplish that kind of diabolical command and control.

What if the undocumented environmental disasters across this country aren’t just allowed to occur but are part of some fiendish plan to make us so stupid that we cheer lead and vote for motherfucking Donald Trump?

I had this whole thought in the shower the other morning and it made my ass pucker.

I smeared hair conditioner on my face and began to shave.

I got dressed and had some cranberry juice.

Nuked a bean and cheese burrito and smeared some salsa verde on it.

Put this laptop in my briefcase and headed to the elevator.

As I drove to work I ruminated on just how dumb these poor fuckers supporting Trump must be.  His message could not possibly be simpler.  The good white people of America are horribly oppressed by political correctness and religious persecution and should therefore be afraid of everything and everybody not like them.   So he’s going to fix all that and make the good white people of America the dominant race again and really, really great again. So great.  So fucking great.  Nevermind how he’ll do it but the good white people of America will be very, very happy again.  It’s going to be great.  So great that the good white people of America might just get sick of being so great again.

I imagined an America so great that I’ll feel really, really great about giving my spare change to the minorities unfortunate enough to be minorities.  I’ll have plenty of spare change again.  Or I might feel really good about shooting them and putting them out of their misery because I get to carry my gun anywhere and they won’t be able to afford one because they are losers. Because once again, as a white man, I’ll be afforded the opportunity to dispense judgement and justice like white men should be able to.  Again.  Like we’ve always been able to until now.

Great.

Again.

It’s gonna be so, so great.

We just need to hang on until the curiously orange dude with the impossible hair and no couth seals the deal by getting elected by an army of poisoned dipshits and manifests the fears of the rest of the world.

There has to be a reason we have become so fucking stupid.

Drinks for my friends.

  • Great article, and quite scary. I’m also not into conspiracies, but this has crossed my mind as well.

  • G.a. Underwood:

Welcome to the rabbit hole, dear friend, Come on into the first cubbyhole, where you’ll see masses of people intentionally divided against one another. Look around at all the racism, the nationalism, the misogyny, the resentment of people of various economic levels. There are lots of other divisions besides these, but in every case the resentment’s a two-way street. Everyone’s wronged these days – even the persecuted white Christian majority. It seems like the national hatred, the American stupidity’s at an all-time high, doesn’t it? Nobody’s happy.

But what if that’s on purpose? What if all this resentment was a planned distraction? A distraction to make it easier for us to ignore the biggest theft of all time that’s going on right underneath our noses?

What messages are our leaders sending us to promote our division? They want us to stop and see what a great nation we COULD be – if only it wasn’t for all those damned:

    * Mexican rapists and drug dealers.
    * Women who want to act like men.
    * Immigrants bringing disease and poverty into this country.
    * Worthless slackers wrapped up in cocoons of our social safety nets.
    * Conservatives favoring corporations over humans while saying they’re one and the same.
    * Flat-earthers who think we’re in the ‘End Times’ and want to govern us accordingly.

Because what if we all got along a little better and we started comparing notes?

What if we were one common team and we grew more whistleblowers?

How could our coming together as a society most effectively be discouraged?

You know what makes me able to sleep at night, Mr. Douglass?

Knowing that the only ones to stand to gain from such a scenario are too damned stupid and disorganized to ever successfully pull it all off.

Want proof? They can’t even agree on which presidential candidate they’re investing in this week.

  • Sayanara Hirosima:

This is one of the stupidest things I have ever read. Why on earth would they poison te Pacific Ocean? Gimme a break! We all drink and eat from the same water and food supply. Conspiracy theory bs is what you are dreaming about.

    • Um. Are you joking? There was a tsunami that swamped a nuclear power plant. Um….

    • G.a. Underwood:

It’s not like they’re villains with shifty glances, twirling their handlebar moustaches. It’s that they’re irresponsible children who want to privatize all profits while socializing the responsibilities, civic and financial. “Don’t worry! Mom’ll clean it up” when/if they’re caught. Just like when one of Duke Energy’s first reactions to their massive NC coal ash spill was to answer a reporter’s question by saying ‘Yes, the clean-up costs would be passed on to their customers’. By the way, Duke was caught a week or so later intentionally pumping their previously-leaked poison into a different section of unaffected water. Had there been an even simpler way to get rid of the stuff, they certainly would have done so. They didn’t want to ruin even more of our groundwater, but they really, really wanted to rapidly reduce the amount of evidence against them.

      • Cathy Rouse Page:

g.a. I am one of those NC residents that is appalled by the lack of state level oversight. Fact is, before the first of the coal dust containment ponds burst into the Dan River, and went interstate, the EPA had zero concerns with any of them. They are still only interested in the one.
Our tea party lead legislature has passed a bill that lets polluters police themselves.

How’s that for a nightmare scenario?

  • reiya:

Well stated analyses of the Trump ass and us, the dumb Trumpsasses, We shall be lead by paranoia to war, by a one per center. Aren’t we just so special? just like those guy’s that think they have a right to go into movie theaters and grade schools and slaughter strangers for no reason whatsoever.

  • Joanne Giovenco:

I’m not much for conspiracy theories, but I don’t think this is a theory. I think it is a fact. The republicans want people dead. Specifically, they want poor people dead and minorities dead.

Poor people? Because they just annoy the GOP and keep voting for people who give them “free stuff”. Get rid of those poor people, who often tend to be minorities, and you practically eliminate the entitlements the GOP hates so much–you know, the ones that keep people alive.

Minorities? That one’s easy. In a decade or so, minorities will be the majority of people in the country. White people (aka the GOP “base”) will become a minority group and they just can’t let that happen. They might never win another election if that happened. Or, I should say, national or state election, because they’ve packed the white people into nice, pretty, safe congressional districts that, if anything, will become more republican.

Nothing will get done in the country. The House will remain republican, while the Senate and the Presidency will be democratic. That’s good enough for them because the House controls the money. They can still keep it away from the poor, while giving themselves tax cuts.

The water situation has been going on in Flint, Michigan for 18 months. The people of Flint immediately raised their concerns, but who did they have to raise them to? The governor-appointed “emergency manager” who usurped the elected mayor and city council and made the call to switch to Flint river water.

How is the governor in Michigan still in office? He has already killed people and has poisoned an entire generation of children. I’m sure he regrets the situation was found out so soon; otherwise, his plan to kill all those children and prevent them from reproducing future generations of poor, black people might have succeeded. Instead, he is now facing a future where the state of Michigan will have to take care of those children poisoned so badly they will not be able to function in society.

Not giving them health insurance was taking too long. Maybe if the democrats hadn’t voted in the ACA during the only two-year window they had, more of the poor and minorities would be dying already, but damn, the ACA gave millions of people access to health insurance. The republican governors still tried by refusing to expand Medicaid, which also makes them murderers. The republican candidates for President (I can’t believe the depths to which the country has sunk) are all campaigning on, “Repealing EVERY SINGLE WORD OF OBAMACARE their first day in office”. And people cheer. They cheer. Do they have any clue what they are cheering for?

Did you hear Rubio and Cruz in the debate on Thursday? Trump said he was in favor of health care for everyone because he didn’t want people dying in the streets. Now, I don’t really believe he gives a damn how many people die in the streets, but he said it and it is a reasonable thing for someone to say, especially if he thinks he’s going to get the party’s nomination.

But Cruz and Rubio didn’t like that. They protested what he said. I heard Rubio say dying in the streets was better than health care controlled by the government. That’s probably what Cruz was saying, too. They have conned their “base” into believing this. The ACA isn’t government-controlled health care. What do their people hear when the words “insurance companies are bidding for customers on the exchanges”? “Death squads”?

Yeah, there are problems with the ACA. There are going to be problems with any program implemented that big, either in the public or private sector. If the republicans in congress had just met with democrats to fix the things that don’t work and expand the things that do, we would all be in a better situation right now. Instead, they voted to repeal it 597 times and counting.

And now more stories are coming out about lead in the water; benzene in the water; gas in the water. What do these stories have in common? They are all occurring in places with high proportions of poor and minority populations.

Why don’t they just build fucking gas chambers and get it over with? They want us dead. Yes, it’s a conspiracy, but it’s not theory. It’s happening. It’s happening right here in the United States of America, land of the free and home of the brave…white people, that is.

  • Cathy Rouse Page:

Michael, the sad truth is that we are a complacent society, as long as we are doing alright in our own tiny bubbles.
What is happening in Flint, Michigan has happened before, and is going on across the US. I can’t even imagine what environmental horrors occur in countries where US multinational corporations operate without any environmental or worker protections.

Remember Freddie Gray, the young man killed by Baltimore police.? He was cognitively impaired by lead poisoning. Unable to read. To learn. To be taught. To control his behavior.

In Flint, we have thousands of more Freddie Grays.
My heart breaks for all of the children denied the right to grow up healthy, strong, and encouraged to be the best they can.
